Week Three...

Day Eleven, April 26, 2010.




Lauren Gilhula day eleven; writing Elder Rights story for tomorrow's paper. Attended a "Look Good, Feel Better" workshop this morning for women dealing with cancer. ...keeping my fingers crossed for opportunities. hoping for the best. ♥

Day Thirteen, April 28, 2010.




Lauren Gilhula day thirteen; fiiinally finished elder story re-write..editor came in and said, "hey boss" hahahahah. Safari today! soooo excited to get my behind the scenes tour and take lots of great photos! so busy my last week. wish i didnt have to leave. LIFE.IS.GOOOOOD ♥

Lauren Gilhula had a wonderful lunch with an exceptionally good friend, Deanna Patricia Anne Mitchell and had an awesome time at safari photographing giraffes, rhinos and elephants! ♥ LIFE.IS.GOOOOOD. ♥

Lauren Gilhula I got the best assignment from my editor to go tour safari and take photos for a photo story for Friday's paper. I loved the whole experience but the giraffes were definitely my favourite!! :D

Slack bought two arm fulls of stuffed animals in order to help support the garage sale hosted by the Cambridge & District Humane Society.




Kin cleanup. Employees of Kin Canada gathered to help clean up the corner at the intersection at Conestoga Boulevard and Dunbar Road. The women took part in the 20-Minute Makeover offered by the City of Cambridge. Each group received a free kit including T-shirts, garbage bags and gloves. Lauren Gilhula ‎;can't believe i'm leaving my internship now ...what an incredible experience it's been though. sooo happy with all the opportunities i've had. I hope I can get a job doing this cause now I know what I want to do with my life! what an amazing feeling. LIFE.IS.GOOOD. ..off to Eric's and gramma's this weekend. cant wait! have a great weekend,everyone! ♥ xo
